Method
Preparation
- In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, cherry juice, and spiced rum.
- Add cherry preserves and stir well until mixed.
- Toss in fresh blueberries for an extra fruity touch.
Prepare the Edible Bloody Eyeballs
- Insert a blueberry into the center of each drained lychee to create an eyeball effect.
- Drizzle cherry syrup on the lychees for a 'bloody' appearance, if desired.
Serving
- Fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria mixture over the ice.
- Garnish each drink with a few edible bloody eyeballs on top.
- Serve immediately for a chilling effect!
Notes
If you have leftover sangria, store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Prepare new eyeballs when serving leftovers. Chill all ingredients beforehand for best taste. Add other fruits like oranges or strawberries for extra flavor.
