Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 65 g softened butter Very soft for easy mixing
  • 65 g peanut butter Use creamy peanut butter for best texture
  • 1 unit egg
  • 1 tsp liquid vanilla
Dry Ingredients
  • 80 g brown sugar Can substitute with white sugar if needed
  • 60 g light brown sugar
  • 200 g all-purpose flour Sifted gradually into the mixture
  • 100 g chopped dark chocolate Can add more for extra chocolate flavor
  • 30 g unsalted roasted peanuts Chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and peanut butter. Mix until creamy.
  2. Add the brown sugar and light brown sugar, mixing well.
  3. Incorporate the egg and vanilla, stirring until everything is combined.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Sift in the flour gradually into the peanut butter mixture.
  2. Add the chopped dark chocolate and roasted peanuts, mixing gently.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drop spoonfuls of dough, spacing them apart.
  3. Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are slightly golden.
  4. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature with a glass of milk or cup of tea. Store in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. For a healthier version, use whole wheat flour or natural sweeteners.
