Preparation
- Run a lemon or lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rims into a bowl filled with black salt or sanding sugar until coated.
- Fill the glasses with crushed ice or ice cubes based on preference.
Mixing
- In a cocktail shaker, mix together the vodka, Midori, pineapple juice, lime juice, and blue curacao. Add a few ice cubes.
- Shake the mixture for about 20 to 30 seconds until chilled and slightly frothy.
Serving
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared glasses.
- Adjust the color by adding more Midori for green, more pineapple juice for yellow, or more blue curacao for blue shades.
- Garnish with a black and white straw and any other garnishes as desired before serving.
Notes
This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for a few hours. Adjust sweetness with more pineapple juice if desired. Experiment with rimming variations for a fun twist.
