  • 1 ounce vodka (or substitute with white rum, tequila, or gin) Alcohol base
  • 1 ounce Midori melon liqueur (or another green liqueur like sour apple schnapps) For sweetness and color
  • ½ ounce blue curacao (or another blue liqueur like Hpnotiq) Adds color and flavor
  • ½ ounce fresh lime juice (or lemon juice or sour mix) For acidity
  • 3 ounces pineapple juice Base juice for sweetness
  • Ice cubes Ice cubes For chilling the drink
  • 1 wedge fresh lemon or lime For rimming the glass
  • 1 tablespoon black salt or black sanding sugar For rimming the glass

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Run a lemon or lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rims into a bowl filled with black salt or sanding sugar until coated.
  2. Fill the glasses with crushed ice or ice cubes based on preference.
Mixing
  1. In a cocktail shaker, mix together the vodka, Midori, pineapple juice, lime juice, and blue curacao. Add a few ice cubes.
  2. Shake the mixture for about 20 to 30 seconds until chilled and slightly frothy.
Serving
  1. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glasses.
  2. Adjust the color by adding more Midori for green, more pineapple juice for yellow, or more blue curacao for blue shades.
  3. Garnish with a black and white straw and any other garnishes as desired before serving.

Notes

This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for a few hours. Adjust sweetness with more pineapple juice if desired. Experiment with rimming variations for a fun twist.
