Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until the mixture is smooth.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and peanut butter until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until everything is combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, making sure to space the cookies about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are set.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
