why make this recipe

Baked Cranberry Brie Bites are a delicious appetizer that’s perfect for any occasion. They are warm, cheesy, and feature the sweet tang of cranberry sauce. These bites can impress your guests at parties or simply make for a cozy snack at home. Plus, they are easy to make and use only a few ingredients!

how to make Baked Cranberry Brie Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, defrosted
  • 4 oz. brie cheese (I use a small cheese wheel)
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (store bought or homemade)
  • Candied pecans (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray. If you want to make cutting the cheese easier, place your wheel of brie in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Unroll one sheet of puff pastry and cut it into 16 squares, creating 4 rows by 4 rows. Place each square in the prepared muffin tin.
  3. Take out the brie from the freezer and cut it into cubes. Place one cube in the center of each muffin tin square.
  4. Spoon a small amount of cranberry sauce over the top of each brie cube. Be careful not to add too much, as the bites puff up and could overflow.
  5. Place your muffin tin in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the puff pastry turns golden brown.
  6. Once they are done, take the pan out of the oven and let the bites cool for a few minutes. Run a sharp knife around the edge of each cup to pop them out of the tin.
  7. If you like, garnish with chopped candied pecans and fresh rosemary. Serve immediately!

how to serve Baked Cranberry Brie Bites

These bites are best served warm right out of the oven. You can arrange them on a serving platter and garnish them with fresh herbs for a festive look. Pair them with a glass of wine for an extra treat!

how to store Baked Cranberry Brie Bites

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can last for up to 2 days. To reheat, place them in an oven at 350 degrees for a few minutes until warm.
